Licence and source
Section 13 of the AGPL says that if you run modified AGPL software as a network service, the people using that service are entitled to its source. This page is how we meet that.
The offer
The complete corresponding source for Sonari — the desktop app and everything behind the hosted service — is published at our repository, under AGPL-3.0-only. It is the same code that runs in production; there is no separate closed build.
Upstream
Sonari is a fork of VoiceStudio, which is itself AGPL-3.0-only. The engine work, the dubbing pipeline, and most of what makes the studio good came from that project and its contributors. The licence requires the attribution; keeping it prominent is simply correct.
What this means for you
- You can read, modify, and self-host the whole thing.
- The desktop app costs nothing and needs no account.
- If you run a modified copy as a service, the same obligation applies to you.
This page is a description of our obligations, not legal advice. The licence text itself is the authority.
